The thoughts we say to ourselves matter. They have an energetic ripple. They create a lens, a filter, in how we, see, hear, experience and feel the world around us. The more we continue to plant seeds of kindness for ourselves, the more we water and nourish our minds to be a garden of flowers instead of a garden full of weeds. This Loving Kindness practice helps us plant seeds of kindness. And just like a real garden there will always be weeds, but we get to be in charge of what we want to grow and what garden we want to have in our mind.
